Our Career Services are available on an on-going basis to ACC graduates. Placement doesn't stop with the graduate's first employment site. We encourage our graduates to return for job placement when they feel ready to seek advanced employment as experienced professionals.

American Career College's Career Service is a vital part of the value we offer you as Alumni of our school. The Alumni Services Department is staffed with full-time placement professionals and offers graduates an active placement service, and, although the securing of positions cannot be guaranteed, every avenue is pursued to assist students in obtaining desirable employment. ACC will do everything possible to provide students with the best and most up-to-date career opportunities. The Alumni Services team will instruct and guide graduates with career planning, interviewing techniques, resume preparation, completing job applications, professional attire workshops, interview follow-up, networking and time management.
| Alumni assistance is available to all successful graduates. Ultimately, your career success is in your hands. Here are some guidelines to assist you: |
- First impressions are key. Professional attire must be worn during the interview process.
- Arrive promptly for interviews. Notify your contact within a reasonable time-frame if an interview is cancelled or rescheduled.
- We make every effort to refer graduates to employers within a reasonable distance. However, employment opportunities may not always present themselves in the desired geographical location. Be flexible when considering career opportunities!
- Successful career placement is dependent upon a mutual effort by both graduates and the Alumni Services team. We encourage you to aggressively seek employment opportunities on your own, keep records of their contacts and inform their placement advisor of these efforts.
- Beyond knowledge in one's career field, the ability to communicate that knowledge to the employer and "sell" oneself to that employer are vital skills. Students and graduates are encouraged to take advantage of every opportunity to work with the placement department to sharpen their interviewing and presentation skills.
