April 2009

Los Angeles

April 6-10 – In Celebration of National Optics Week, all Optics students enjoyed coffee and donuts and received a gift. Instructors were recognized and given a gift by their students in appreciation of their hard work and dedication.
April 16 – Over 50 individuals attended the Vocational Nursing orientation.
April 20-24 – In honor of National Health Claims Examiner/Medical Biller Week, all Medical Billing students enjoyed coffee and donuts and received a gift. Instructors were recognized and given a gift by their students in appreciation of their hard work and dedication.
May 4-8 – During Teacher's Appreciation Week, all instructors were thanked and recognized by colleagues and students for their lifetime dedication to motivating others.

Orange County

May 5 – During Teacher's Appreciation Week (May 4 - 8), a celebration was held for all instructors and supporting staff. There were two celebrations -- one afternoon session and one evening session. A delicious fiesta-themed meal was served by the program directors and education administrative staff.  Various raffles were also held to win gift cards. Also, each instructor was given a gift bag.

Inland Empire

April 2 – A Student Services Fair was held on campus between 5:30 – 8:00 PM. The Fair is designed to help current ACC students with their day-to-day needs while attending school, including services such as childcare, professional counseling, insurance, banking, health care and community support. Some of the organizations in attendance were the American Diabetes Association, Catholic Charity, Foothill Family Shelter, "Healthcare Benefits for All," Ontario-Montclair YMCA and Wells Fargo Bank…to name a few.
April 9 – The graduation ceremony, held at the Ontario Convention Center, was attended by 265 graduates and more than 3,000 proud and enthusiastic  family members and friends. Graduates represented the seven healthcare career programs offered at the Ontario campus.
