Los Angeles

May 21st – Over 500 graduates walked across the stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and received their diploma during the graduation ceremony.
May 26th - May 29th - During Vocational Nurses Week, ACC presented both nursing students and instructors with a special recognition gift.

Orange County

May 7th – The spring 2009 graduation ceremony, held at the Cal State Long Beach Walter Pyramid, was attended by over 400 graduates and nearly 4,500 proud and enthusiastic family members and friends. Graduates represented the eight different healthcare career programs offered at the Ontario campus. Highlights of the ceremony were graduate success stories that featured an inspiring video presentation of our Success Story Awardee, Patricia Brown, a Health Claims Examiner and Medical Biller graduate, who overcame personal obstacles while achieving her dreams and goals to graduate.
May 13th – The monthly perfect attendance drawing was held. All students with perfect attendance for the month of April are entered into a drawing for gift cards from various vendors. Also, four classes (one class per session) with the highest attendance for April were rewarded with a pizza party.

Inland Empire

May 13th – The monthly perfect attendance drawing was held. All students with perfect attendance for the month of April are entered into a drawing for 26 $10 gift cards from various vendors.
May 18th – Guest speaker, Gloria Kimbell, conducted a presentation entitled, "Health Care Resources—How to Obtain Low Cost to No Cost Healthcare." The rest of the presentation consisted of Gloria assisting students with applications for Healthcare Insurance.
May 28th – Students were rewarded with root beer floats as an incentive for returning to classes after the long Memorial Day weekend. Student Services rewarded classes who had 100% attendance on 5/26. Over a 150 students were served.
