Los Angeles


June 18th – Orientation was held for new Vocational Nursing students. 50 new students met with their instructors, purchased books and prepared for their upcoming program.


 

Orange County


June 10th – The perfect attendance drawing for the month of May was held. Students with perfect attendance received gift cards from a variety of retailers. In addition, the four classes with the highest attendance rate for the month received free pizza.


June 13 & 20 – Over 30 students took Part 2 of the GED Test on campus. These students have been attending ongoing GED preparation tutoring sessions provided through ACC's Student Services Academic Support Team.


 

Inland Empire


June 9th – A blood drive was held and 120 units of blood were donated.


June 11th – The Perfect Attendance drawing was held for the month of May. Students with perfect attendance were entered into a drawing to win a gift card. A total of $280 in gift cards was distributed.


June 15th & June 16th – 15 students took Part 2 of the GED Test on campus. These students have been attending ongoing GED preparation tutoring sessions provided through ACC's Student Services Academic Support Team.


June 18th – A total of 425 students feasted on chili dogs for having perfect attendance in May
