Our program is designed to provide students with the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary for an entry-level technician position in a retail, hospital or home health pharmacy.

You'll learn dosage calculations, product recognition, and drug distribution systems. Major emphasis is placed on learning the trade and generic names of selected drugs and their classification. You'll also learn pharmaceutical and medical terminology including abbreviations and symbols used in prescribing, dispensing and charting. Basic anatomy and related pathological conditions are introduced.
